Thanks for stopping by to learn more about me!

About Me...
Don't know much, or maybe nothing at all, about me? I'm not surprised! Actually, I shun publicity and that's why no one knows I'm famous.

Still want to know more? OK!

First, I'm not really famous! Actually, I'm a fairly normal, down-to-earth kind of guy with a sense of humor who likes to smile and be friendly even to strangers; I'm one of those annoying fellows who says hi when he walks down the street.

Not famous but not entirely unknown, some know me as a savvy marketing professional who's helped make millions for companies over the past 30 years. Others know me as a passionate, youth sports advocate active in volunteering my time and talent to the community for more than a decade. Some know me from race car days or family racing affiliations. Some by other association that goes without mention. You may have reached this site by means of a professional reference, a link from one of the web sites I work with, a social network, an article I've written, a picture I've published, a keyword, a search to find me, or by just plain accident. In any event, now that you're here, let's us get better acquainted. I'll start first!

My name is Jay Piz and I often use ZIPYAJ as a moniker and alter-ego - an easy one to figure out and far less deceptive than some faux identity alternative. Born and raised in Lakewood, Colorado, I relocated to Southern California in 1985. Glad to have broken my snow scraper and immerse myself in the sun and beach-oriented lifestyle,  I have since rooted myself with family and business ties in Orange County where I also continue my post-graduate studies through the School of Hard Knocks - experience being the teacher that it is!

Those who know me would say that I am hard working, diligent and enjoy opportunities to use my technology skills (read) and be creative (read) in both my work and in my so-called spare time; I research, write, take photos, devise strategies, develop web sites and content, organize and help unite entities and individuals and much, much more.  I give my all into everything I do and I don't give up until they're done to the very best of my ability - no 2nds allowed!  (OK, so this site is a work in progress!).

Professionally speaking, I've been referred to as a Brand Champion and called the Universal Marketer (read) by my peers (a pun derived from Jean-Claude Van Damme's Universal Soldier). Regardless of the product or service, I am adroit and have the innate ability and vision to both create and implement successfully.

As a youth sports advocate and community activist, my efforts include and exceed promoting Southern California's High School Roller Hockey leagues, (link) helping with fundraisers (link) in the community, being a coach and team manager for AYSO Soccer teams (view), and more!

I share this information about me with hope to find some common bond and opportunity that enables us to work together. Whether you represent a company seeking to connect with a top-notch digital marketer for a long-term employment opportunity or contract arrangement, or a like-minded party with a common interest, you simply have to explore this site to discover what my experience can offer you and then reply to introduce yourself. It's your turn!

I have indeed been referred to by different titles and monikers over the years: Entrepreneur; Board member; President; V.P., General Manager; Chief Marketing Officer (CMO); Marketing Director; Manager; BizDev Specialist; Salesman; and Go-To-Guy, to name a few. And there's two special people in my life who simply call me Dad.

Yes, I've been called by more than one moniker over the years, and you can call me just about anything.
Just call me!  (714) 508-8982, or
